What are some popular ways to customize this grille?

The beauty of this grille is that every part can be refinished and assembled for a completely personal, unique look. We’ve divided our customization options into two categories—Color-Matched and Raptorized. They're Interchangeable, and please allow us to walk you through how they can be mixed and matched.Color Matched 2024 Grille: This listing alone gives your front end a refreshed OEM look with a clean paint match to your factory color. The seven slots and two rings included in this offer come pre-painted in Rubicon Grey.see photo ↓To give the iconic seven slots and headlight rings a more aggressive, off-road-ready, or an elegant look, pair this grille with our Trim & Slots Customization, where we offer several blackout finishes for the trim pieces, including Raptorized texture, Satin Performance Black, and Gloss Black. Also, this is the place for that trendy single slot color pop up!💡See photo below for a Smooth Raptorized Trim. The entire mesh, trim, and chin are raptorized together for a fully uniform finish with no pieces left untreated.💡See photo below for a Satin Performance Black Trim - It’s low-key and good looking—appearing dark grey under direct light and a muted black in the shade. We finish it with a single-stage satin clear. The 7 slots are removed from the main grille for proper refinishing, and if you’d like the mesh painted as well, we can do that at no extra cost—just leave a note at checkout.

What does “Raptorzied” mean?

Truck Bed Liners! For Jeeps, though, we wanted a finish that looked tough yet more OEM(less clumpy). So we adjusted the formula—smoothing out the heavy “popcorn” texture into a subtle, powder-coat-like finish while keeping the same hardcore protection against UV, weather, and trail damage. The result is smooth coating that shrugs off the elements and requires almost no upkeep.

What is the build quality of your base grille?

Our grille is built to OEM specifications and comes with a factory primer-coated main panel. The Rubicon Grey trim(7 Slots Headlight Rings) features a durable factory painted finish designed to withstand harsh chemicals commonly used during car washes. While the primer-coated panel can be used as-is, we generally recommend having it painted for a more durable, finished appearance. For customers who do not wish to purchase our paint service and prefer to handle color matching or painting locally, this grille is the ideal starting point.Photo by @Mexican_Overlande

Do your tape-on parts fly off?

They fly off the moment you start driving—just kidding. Our tape-on parts are built to stay put. We use 3M VHB tape—the same type strong enough to hold heavy wall hangers—and we’ve tested it through drive-through car washes on our own Jeep and Bronco. When the surface is properly prepped, the bond is extremely secure—we’ve had to fight to remove it ourselves. When it’s time to take it off, the tape removes cleanly in one piece—unlike crappy tapes that crumble and leave a mess.
