For all JL 4xe owners, your drawer is self leveled with the backseat folded down, the flap bridges the gap seamlessly. 

For gas/diesel JL owners, if you wish to level out the cargo space, select the option"with leveling platform". 

Please ensure you pick the right configuration for your build as we can not change the design layout once production begins. 

Compared to traditional 200 lb plywood-built systems, ours weighs just 80–100 lbs, making it one of the lightest yet toughest aluminum drawer systems available. It’s wrapped in marine-grade carpet for durability and a premium finish.

The setup also includes a solid bamboo table, tone-oiled for a warm, natural feel and with excellent scratch resistance.

This custom-built drawer system requires two weeks for production and two weeks for shipping.

If you select the bamboo tabletop, please allow an additional week.

Back in 2022, we built our very first concept drawer system for the Wrangler. Nothing fancy—just a sheet of plywood on three legs, wrapped in marine carpet, with two plastic bins underneath. That prototype is still on YouTube today, and it reminds us where this all started.

We showed that idea to our manufacturer, and we lived with that first-gen Tough Drawer for a full year. It worked, but it was what it was. It didn’t have the two things I wanted most—a kitchen setup and a dedicated slide-out fridge deck. It was a drawer, not a system.

Fast-forward another year, and now we’re finally here with the Tough Drawer 2.0. This version brings every improvement we wished the first one had, and honestly, we think this is everything an overlander actually needs.

From the structure to the details, this is a buy once, cry once piece of gear. We hold our manufacturer to U.S. standards while building these drawers, and we take pride in every single unit that leaves the shop.
