Diode Dynamics Rock Lights can do much more than just light up your wheels. Designed to expand their functionality, our custom roof-rack bracket mounts each light at a sweet 60-degree downward angle without requiring additional Diode Dynamics factory mounts.

The MOLLE-panel-inspired slots and angled cutouts let you tilt, pan, and position the lights exactly where you need them. This gives you better control over rear visibility, trail safety, campsite lighting, and illumination around your vehicle on the night trails.

When paired with Diode Dynamics dual-color Rock Lights, a four-light setup can provide 360-degree warm ambient lighting at camp, then instantly switch to bright white output for improved trail visibility and better lighting for your spotter.

Installation Tips

For routing external lighting cables from a Wrangler roof rack, there are two  options. The cleanest and most professional method is to drill through the hardtop and use a Scanstrut cable seal to create a safe, weatherproof entry point. From there, the wiring can be hidden behind the interior trim panels and routed cleanly to the vehicle’s 12V power source.

The easier, less refined option is to run the cable through the rear window hinge area and route it along hardtop wiring group, bolts, rear/front door trim panels, and all the way toward the battery.
