This unit is intended for quick, ground-level run-and-gun use. For safety reasons, do not bolt the heater to your racks or operate your vehicle with the heater bolted in place. Always use a quick-release style mounting solution instead.

5kW Combusto

Best for deep winter, larger spaces, and extended overlanding setups. Delivers maximum heat output for extreme cold, multi-person tents, or enclosed workspaces. Ideal if you camp at high elevation or in sustained freezing conditions.

2kW Combusto

Best for compact setups and travel-light builds. Provides efficient, reliable heat for smaller tents, solo campers, or short trips where portability and low power draw matter most.

Quick Recommendation

Choose the 5kW if you camp in harsh winters or need serious heat.

Choose the 2kW if you want a compact, efficient heater for lighter, mobile setups.

All power stations — even entry-level units — can run the Combusto using our new 110V adapter. The only time you may run into breaker-tripping issues is when using a 12V cigarette-lighter plug, as those ports are not designed for high startup loads.

Power Draw: Both the 2kW and 5kW models pull 8–15 amps during startup, then settle to 1–3 amps while running.

Fuel Consumption:

2kW model: ~0.2 L/hour

5kW model: ~0.4 L/hour (depending on heat level)

Warranty

We stand behind what we build. If anything comes up—whether you’re in or out of warranty—we’re here to help. That may mean troubleshooting an error code, diagnosing an issue, or walking you through a part replacement.

Returns

You may return your Combusto within 7 days of delivery for any reason, provided it has not been used or fueled. 

A 25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs will apply.

Heaters that have been used, are missing their original packaging, or show signs of wear may be subject to an additional restocking fee.

Because fueled Combusto is classified as a hazardous-material item for shipping purposes, return shipping arranged through us may involve additional carrier requirements and fees. If a return is needed, we encourage customers to arrange return shipping themselves when possible.

For the 2026 Winter Batch, we’ve refined the overall layout for improved reliability and efficiency:

• All fuel lines now use soft PTFE tubing with quick release, helping prevent loose connections caused by wear on harder rubber tubing.
• Cold-side components are now positioned on the right, while heat-generating components remain on the left.
• The power port and air intake have moved to the right, with the exhaust and hot-air outlet on the left.
• The previous intake ducting has been removed for more direct and efficient airflow.
