You will need a basic rivet gun (easily found on Amazon) — and trust us, it’s a tool worth having in your toolbox because you’ll likely need it again for future upgrades.
Just remove the existing rivets from your fender with a drill bit, align the new fender flares with the original mounting points, and secure them using your rivet gun. That’s it — clean, solid, and ready for the trail.

2021 4xe Sahra requires some drilling.The rear fit with no problems and utilize the factory holes. There was a slight gap in the corner, but you'd have to look at it from a certain angle to see it, but from a few feet away, you can't tell. The front I had to drill two or three holes as the holes did not align. But the fender flair shape aligned well I didn't have to make any modifications to the fender flare extension. If there were any spots that need support I added a rivet and drilled a new hole. Tools Rivet Gun and Fastener Remover Amazon Link Drill 1/4in drill bit Cloth Tiny screwdriver Hammer/mallet (Yotto Overland Kit comes with rivets and 3 extra) Install Steps Good Vid to watch if you are lost. Recon Fender extensions There is a small hole in the center of each rivet. Basically takes something that will fit in there and hammer out the pegs. Pegs fallout of the fender at the bottom. Use the fastener removal tool or trim tools to remove the rivet. Repeat for each one. I used a cloth to wipe the dirt off. For the front the first top TWO or three will line up with holes. The rest line em up and, drill, baby, drill! Once installed you'll have parts of the rivets sticking out- snap them off with the Rivet tool or cut them with a blade for a clean appearance. All and all if you have all the tools it should take you 30 minutes to an hour. Took me a bit more because I had to run to harbor freight a few times lol. They are a quality set and look OEM

Great addition and easy install. Don’t waste your money on a riveter though.
My fender flare extensions arrived in excellent condition and appear to be of high quality (I haven’t installed them yet.) The only hiccup in the transaction was that the plastic rivets were not included as advertised. I emailed Yotto, and received an immediate response that included an Amazon link for the rivets, which was much appreciated. I ordered them at low cost, and they arrived within.2 days. Ready for the install!
